Sampson Corvettes is a family owned automotive dealership specializing in Corvettes. Our beautiful 5000 square foot showroom is located in the Midwest on Highway 18 in Sanborn, Iowa. Just an hour from Sioux Falls, SD and Sioux City, IA. We take pride in our inventory and finding the perfect American Sports Car for our customers. Our inventory usually consists of carry every generation of the Corvette. The bulk of our inventory are 2000s and newer. Trade-ins are always welcome and if we don’t have the Corvette you desire; we will find it!

Our dealership is operated by family. This wouldn’t be a business with out the help from my wife and children. You will see our passion in Corvettes and to our customers. Every year we sponsor a Corvette Cruise-in & Vettes in the Park in Okoboji, IA to show our cus-tomers appreciation.

Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auto Auction: My daughter and I have had tremendous suc-cess at this auction. We usually bring 3-8 classic cars a year. The last couple years we have purchased a couple collector cars also.

Who we are:

Craig & Sharon Sampson ~ Owners

My wife and I started our dealership in 1997 selling used cars. In 2005, we decided to specialize in Corvettes. We started in a small shop and have grown our business to a showroom. Sports cars have always been a desire of mine since I was 14 years old. I grew up with Novas and Chevelles. My brothers and I always had the fastest cars in high school. In the 70’s, I had 1968 Z-28 Camaro that I would raced on the weekends.

My favorite part of our business is working with my children. They help with the daily operations and share my passion for Corvettes and classic cars. My daughter and my grandson will eventually take over which creates long term business for our customers.

Laura Sampson ~ Co-Owner & Marketing Manager

2nd Generation

My daughter, Laura, has been selling cars since she was 15. She grew up a car girl and would take any car off our car lot and try and race other kids. She is bubbly, full of energy and always has a smile on her face. Laura loves to drive the Corvettes! (Who doesn’t!)

Laura graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with her Business Administration & Marketing Degree. Her responsibilities at the dealership are sales, marketing, company donations, sponsorships and she is in charge of the car shows. She sets everything up for the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Car Auction and Mecum Car Auctions.

Nicholas Sampson ~ Sales

Nicholas is my oldest son and does sales and detailing at our dealership. He is really particular when cleaning the Corvettes & Classic Cars. They will not have a spot on them when he is finished. He enjoys going to the car auctions and helping me pick out our inventory.

Nicholas graduated from Iowa State University with his Agriculture Business Degree. He and his wife, Ashley have 3 children. When he is not selling Corvettes; he takes care the farming responsibilities.

Brent Sampson ~ Sales

My youngest son, Brent and his wife Toi, resides in Milwaukee, WI. He comes home often for the car shows and to test drive the inventory! Brent and his wife graduated from The University of Iowa– Go Hawkeyes!

Slayton Sampson ~ Sales & Future Owner

3rd Generation

Slayton is Laura’s son and my oldest grandchild. He is 100% a car guy and will work on anything. Slayton and I have spent a lot of time together at the dealership and at car shows. He almost has more car knowledge than me and loves to attend the Barrett Jackson Auction. After Slayton finishes high school, he plans on attending college. We will be focusing on business degree.
